I've been busy with a short film I'm shooting in Paris (in French). The short is called THE CHINESE SHOES. I'm the writer, producer and director. It's about a guy who finds a pair of old Chinese shoes in an antique store. He thinks they give him special powers, namely "Bruce Lee-like" kick-ass powers. So, he buys them and goes out and does just that. He kicks a bunch of ass trying and impress the girl he likes. Unfortunately, he kicks too much ass and almost kills somebody while completely disgusting the girl. In the end, he returns the shoes.
We shot most of the film during the second week of August. We didn't have enough money and definitely not enough time.
Unfortunately, the last two days of production of my short film THE CHINESE SHOES (aka LES SOULIERS CHINOIS) have been postponed until the end of September 2002 due to the bad weather in Paris. I'd like to shoot sooner, but my crew has scattered to work on other projects and it won't be possible to get everyone together until September.
